Stato Liquido is a project by Elisa Ceroti and Gaddo Amunni, born in Florence with the aim of redesigning ice trays, transforming it into an expressive object. Traditional molds are standardized and devoid of personality, Stato Liquido celebrates the natural fluidity of water, which flows and adapts, filling every void naturally. The system of connected compartments allows uniform filling with a single gesture, while a central concave element prevents splashes, making the water slide as if on a smooth stone. Once frozen, the thin ice bridges between the shapes easily break, releasing them effortlessly. Made from recycled food-grade silicone, the project plays with shapes and colors, combining expression and functionality.
