Hello World addresses the theme of calm technology, to reflect on the relationship between man and technology, able to guide users through small signals and aims to reconnect humans with a technology that can make use of peripheral attention. Hello World is based on the theories of Carl Gustav Jung (1908) about the archetypes of human-nature interaction. The functions attributed to “Fhè” are the monitoring of weather and air quality. “Met” manages online notifications and reminders. “Alef” is designed to experiment a new communication between distant users going to intervene on the tangible/intangible binomial. From a commercial point of view, the three devices can be purchased split as they have been designed with the lower body in common and will only intervene on the upper body, to give the user an experience of experimentation with calm technology.
