Dos Mil Quatre-Cents Setanta Grams is the collective exhibition presented at Milan Design Week 2026, as part of the Ventana exhibition programme, that brings together 12 furniture and lighting pieces by 18 young Catalan designers under a shared premise: each object weighs 2,470 grams. Curated by Eva Castany, Pau Geis, Nicole Rambla, Irene Segarra and Marina Vera, the exhibition counts with the support of architect Paolo Sarra, the platform CAP.A, the agency Labóh and with the collaboration of the Industrial Design Association of the FAD (ADI-FAD).
On view from 20 to 25 April at Ventana (Via Plinio 37), the works are displayed on a single platform, forming a collective portrait of the concerns and sensibilities shaping a new generation of Catalan industrial designers. Spanning disciplines from ceramics and textiles to metalwork and glassmaking, weight becomes a starting point to explore the limits between sustainability, industry and craftsmanship, while proposing a more human and playful approach to everyday objects.
